Table of Shewbread/Golgi Apparatus
Sometimes God makes things so obvious it makes one giggle at the fact that so many refuse to see what's right in front of their face.
'Hidden in plain sight' is a term that comes to mind.
We are talking about the Golgi Apparatus.
According to descriptions given by most Biologists, the Golgi Apparatus looks like a stack of pancakes or pita bread...
Can you guess which Tabernacle component that would be?
That's right... the Table of Shewbread.
If you are smiling and giggling, that's probably the Holy Ghost's way of telling you... "isn't that neat?".
Biologists from all over the world have been describing the Table of Shewbread for years now without even realizing it.
But wait... there's more!
Let's find out what the Golgi Apparatus does before continuing...
"The Golgi can be thought of as similar to a post office: it packages and labels items which it then sends to different parts of the cell or to the extracellular space"

A Post Office? How interesting.
The Golgi Apparatus packages Proteins into little 'bundles' and delivers them outside of the Cell throughout the Body.
Proteins are basically Meat or 'flesh'...
"Meat is mainly composed of water, protein, and fat, and is usually eaten together with other food"

These little bundles of Flesh are literally 'broken off' of the Golgi Apparatus, like little pieces of Bread, in a process called 'Vesicular Transport and Trafficking'.
Biologists are still not sure exactly how this process works, so for now there are various models and theories...
Now let's see if we can find something about Flesh and Breaking Bread...
John 6:51
"I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world"
Of course.
Jesus makes it easy to understand.
The Protein bundles (Flesh) broken off of the Cisternae Shewbread are literally like pieces of broken Bread!
What about the breaking part?
1 Corinthians 10:16
"The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?"
Who hasn't heard of breaking Bread?
Luke 22:19
"And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me"
Another Witness...
Matthew 26:26
"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body"
Now then...
Is there another metaphor in all of this? Sure.
Eating the Bread can also be likened to reading the Word of God... and who is the Word of God?
John 6:33
"For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world"
Yes, Jesus is the Word...
John 1:1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"
In other words, these little 'packages' of broken Bread are like Bible Verses...
Luke 4:4
"And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God"
Here's a familiar one...
Matthew 6:11
"Give us this day our daily bread"
These Bible Verses are then delivered to various parts of the Body like the Good News of the Gospel being sent to all the World via God’s Mailbox...
Mark 16:15
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature"
Another Witness...
Matthew 24:14
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come"
When we add up all of the evidence, we see that Jesus is truly God's Greatest Messenger, delivering the Good News of Salvation to everyone!
And finally, we find that the Golgi Apparatus is continually 'refreshing' itself as old pieces are broken off, and new pieces are brought in to replace them.
In a similar fashion, the Shewbread is refreshed every Sabbath...
Leviticus 24:8
"Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant"
The old Bread is then eaten by the High Priest and his Sons in the Holy Place...
Leviticus 24:9
"And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute"
